Ghosts and History in Downingtown
Let’s Talk and Walk through Downingtown
On October 24th and 25th the Downingtown Historic and Parks Committee in a partnership with the Downingtown Area Paranormal Investigators will be putting on a first of its kind Historic Ghost Walking Tour. Taking place in Downtown guests will be taken to some of Downingtown’s most historic and most haunted buildings.
Historic Figures Lead the Tours
Leading the tour will be historic figures from Downingtown’s long history. A Gypsy, Civil War soldier, Underground Railroad Conductor, as well as Thomas Downing himself will lead our unexpected guests into Downingtown’s most haunted areas. Downingtown’s own Paranmoral Investigators with carefully documented stories and communications will give tour-walkers an evening that is both spooky and historic.
The Details for the Tour
Minimum age to attend the event is 7. Tours begin on both 24th and 25th at 5:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased for $3 at Downingtown Borough hall as well as participating businesses in Downingtown.
